- 1994: purchase of the AMX-400 through the EEC Stride-Hellas 33 program, in which research groups of the Department of Chemistry and the School of Medicine participate, with further subsidy from the University of Ioannina and public investments of the Department of Chemistry.
- 1997: the AMX-400 spectrometer was further equipped with a field z-gradient probe
- 1999: Purchase and installation of the AC-250 trhough the EPEAEK “Bioinorganic Chemistry” with co –funding of the Prytaneia of Univeristy of Ioannina
- 2001: Upgrade to Avance systems through the funding of the University and EPEAEK 2001 of the Department of Chemistry.
- 2006: purchase of the hyphenated instrumentation of AV-500 LC-SPE-UV-NMR that was sponsored by the Greek Community Support Framework III, Regional Operational Program of Epirus 2000 – 2006 (MIS 91629).
- 2007: The AV-400 and AV-250 spectrometers were updated to both hardware and software (EPEAEK 2001 and University Funds).
- 2009: purchase of a cryogenic platform and a cryo TXI -probe head and a laser unit through the program of public investments
